04  DAYS WALKING – ABERDARE / MT KENYA

Day One

NAIROBI -  NYERI

Transfer from Nairobi to Rihuru-ini gate 2300m for an overnight in tents.  Picnic lunch en route.

Day Two

ABERDARE FOREST

Vehicle transfer to Chania Bridge, visit the Chania falls then hike to Reedbuck Camp next to Kiandongoro fishing lodge, arriving in time for lunch.  Afternoon visit the Karuru falls to be back in at the camp by 5 pm. for dinner and overnight.

Day Three

ABERDARE FOREST

Vehicle transfer [1 ½ hrs] to Wandare hut [3700m] then hike from here to Satima point 4000m.  Hiking time 3-4 hrs and then drive back to Ruhuru-ini or Wandara Gate for o/n in tents.

Day Four

ABERDARE FOREST-NAIROBI

Early morning gate drive in the Salient then back to camp breakfast after which you drive back to Nairobi by 3pm

ALL PRICES QUOTED INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING:  Transportation with an experienced Driver/Guide, All three meals a day breakfast, lunch & dinner, Services of a safari cook, All camping equipment’s except for sleeping bags, Sharing of two man tents, Park fee, Camping fees
