5 Day Bwindi-Gorilla & Queen Elizabeth Safari Tour

The five day memorable safari in Uganda is a coalition of a Mountain Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Mountains, trekking through Bwindi Gorilla Forest and a spectacular game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park. Guided by forest rangers, you will track down the four remaining gorilla families of this extincting species. Although this safari requires a lot of vigor and determination to trek through the thick and steep forest, coming face to face with these serene giants is worth the effort.Orchids, birds and monkeys are the other inhabitants in the park that you will manage to see.
Later an exciting game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park, where you will see the tree climbing lions in Ishasha region, and also enjoy another Chimpanzee tracking in the Kyambura gorge.

Day 1: Kampala to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Despite this being a very brief holiday in Uganda, it is worthwhile because it is comprised of the exciting Gorilla tracking, sightseeing of the Great Rift Valley and adventurous game drives.
In the morning you will be received by our guide with whom you will embark on an 9-10  hours drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. You will have a stopover to see the Equator, the traditional drum makers, large banana and coffee plantations and the long horned Ankole cattle. Have lunch in one of the towns and then proceed with your journey.
Overnight at Gorilla Safari Lodge for mid range accommodation or at the Camping site in Bwindi . FB

Day 2: Gorilla tracking in Bwindi Forest

Today you will go  for  Gorilla tracking in the tropical forest. Have a picnic lunch in the wild. Overnight at Gorilla Safari Lodge for mid range accommodation or at the Camping site in Bwindi . FB

Day 3: Bwindi -Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast, drive to QENP through Kabale town direct to Mweya peninsular without passing through Ishasha arriving in the evening . Over night at Bush Lodge for mid range accommodation or Institute of Ecology for Low budget accommodation. FB

Day 4: Chimpanzee Tracking and Boat Cruise

Today after breakfast, you will go  for Chimpanzee tracking in Kyambura gorge. Have lunch before embarking on an afternoon boat cruise on the spectacular Kazinga Channel.

Day 5: Game Drive and Continue to Kampala

Have an early morning  game drive to sightsee Queen Elizabeth’s big five which include: lions, elephants, buffalos, leopards and hippopotami. Later transfer back to Kampala
