3 DAYS GORILLA EXPRESS

Day 1: KAMPALA  – BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK (490 KMS

After your morning breakfast you will transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National park with a stop over at the Equator where you will be able to stand into both hemispheres at the same time, you will have your lunch in Mbarara and later drive to Bwindi passing through the ‘Switzerland of Africa’ area known as Kigezi Highlands with its terraced hillside and winding roads arriving in the evening. Overnight at Gorilla Safari Lodge for mid range accommodation or at the Camping site in Bwindi . FB

Day 2: BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK

Go for gorilla tracking walking up steeply in the dense rain forest through different animals’ trails allowing access to tourists. Gorilla tracking is an inspiring and wonderful adventure which one can’t afford to miss. The Gorillas are and peaceful animals and it is an unforgettable experience to watch and photograph them as they interact. In the afternoon relax at the lodge. Overnight at Gorilla Safari Lodge for mid range accommodation or at the Camping site in Bwindi . FB

Day 3: BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK- KAMPALA (490 KMS)

After breakfast, Leisurely drive back to Kampala with a stop over for lunch en-route.  Stop at the Mpigi Royal Drum Makers en-route where you will be able to watch the ceremonial drums being crafted using methods passed down through the generations.  There will also be time to stop at the Equator for photographs.  You will arrive in Kampala in the early evening.  Overnight at your own hotel
