Kenya Volunteer Services

Day 01 :

• Arrive in Nairobi in the evening
• Spurwing Travel will be waiting at the Airport for a meet and greet and transfer to the Spurwing Guest House

Day 02 :

• A.M. - Visit a Lea Toto site [Outreach clinics in the slums of Nairobi], home and/or clinic visits
• Afternoon-Visit Nairobi National Museum, Tour Nairobi
• Meals- Breakfast at Spurwing

Day 03 :

• A.M.- Visit another Lea Toto site
• Meals- Breakfast at Spurwing

Day 04 :

• A.M.- Pack for safari, afternoon visit Kibera Slums
• Meals- Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner at Spurwing

Day 05 :

• Depart for a safari [5 hours drive] to Masai Mara Game Reserve
• Afternoon- Arrive at the Lodge, settle in, afternoon/evening game drive
• Meals - Breakfast at Spurwing Guest House, Lunch & Dinner at the Lodge.

Day 06 :

• A.M.- Morning game drive at Masai Mara
• Afternoon- Visit a Masai Village [present donations to the people at the Village], afternoon/evening game drives
• All Meals & overnight at the Lodge.

Day 07 :

• A.M.- Leave for Lake Nakuru [5-6 hours drive]
• Afternoon/Evening - Game drive at Lake Nakuru National Park
• Meals- Breakfast at the Mara Lodge, Lunch & Dinner at the Lake Nakuru Lodge.

Day 08:

• A.M.- Morning game drive at Lake Nakuru
• Afternoon– Drive to Nairobi and tour Tour KazuriBeads and Karen Blixen’s Homestead
• P.M.- Pack for return home
• Meals- Breakfast and Lunch at Lake Nakuru Lodge, Dinner on own at The Carnivore.

Day 09 :

• A.M.- Breakfast at Spurwing
• Afternoon- Presentation of your donations directly to Nyumbani
• P.M.- Airport transfers for your homebound flight

Service opportunities

• Children’s Home- Sorting/buying food, planned activity with children
• Lea Toto- boost morale with home and/or clinic visits

Included in package cost:  

• 09 Nights Package including: all meals except in restaurants; all admission fees to sites and parks, 4 Day/3 nights Safari; All transportation.

Additional costs not included in package:

• Donations to Nyumbani (this should be given directlt to Nyumbani)
• International airticket to Nairobi, Kenya and travel insurance
• Passport, Visa and medical needs
• Meals not provided by Spurwing Travel
• Spending money for gifts purchased while in Kenya
